Product Warranty
Every piece that leaves the ARTillery studio is quality-checked before shipping. This page details the warranty provided on our pieces.
Artist's warranty
The artist undertakes to supply artworks of high quality that meet the specification presented on the site or agreed upon with the customer. The artist's warranty is limited to defects that originate in the creative process itself.
Warranty period and scope
The warranty applies for a period of 30 days from the date the customer receives the piece. During this period, the artist will repair or replace the piece in the following cases: material defects in the materials the piece is made from; a significant deviation from the piece's specification as presented on the site or agreed with the customer; or damage caused during shipping, provided the customer reports the damage within 48 hours of receiving the piece.
Limitation of warranty
The warranty does not apply in the following cases: natural changes in materials over time (such as minimal fading of color); damage caused by improper handling, unreasonable use, or incorrect installation; damage occurring after the warranty period has ended; or damage resulting from failure to follow the care instructions detailed in the next section.
Care instructions
For optimal care of the piece, it is recommended to: avoid direct exposure to sunlight or high humidity; avoid direct contact with the piece without suitable gloves; not clean the piece with chemical agents without consulting the artist; keep the piece at a stable temperature between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius; and keep heat or moisture sources away from the piece. The artist is not responsible for damage to the piece after it has been delivered to the customer, caused by improper storage, unsuitable environmental conditions, or inadequate handling.
How to make a warranty claim
In the event of a defect or damage covered by the warranty, the customer should: contact the artist within 48 hours of discovering the defect by email at grossjewishart@gmail.com; provide a detailed description of the defect along with clear photos of the damaged piece; and, if necessary, return the damaged piece to the artist (shipping costs will be covered by the artist if the defect is covered by the warranty). The artist undertakes to respond within 5 business days and to offer a suitable solution depending on the circumstances: repairing the piece, replacing it with a new one, or a partial or full refund, at the artist's discretion.
Dispute resolution
In the event of a dispute regarding the scope of the warranty or the way it is applied, the parties will act to resolve the dispute amicably. If no agreement is reached, the matter will be referred to mediation under the laws of the State of Israel.
Safety warning and instructions for use
The pieces are made from real metal fragments, including missile and interceptor remnants, and may include sharp or rough edges as an inseparable part of their artistic character. The pieces are not toys and are not intended for direct contact by young children or pets, and must not be placed where they are accessible to them without supervision. The pieces are not intended for use in a humid environment. Before purchase and installation, the customer should examine the piece's characteristics (including weight, edges, and finish) and confirm that the location and the means of mounting or placement are suitable for safe use (for example, installation at height). It is recommended to use a professional installer for heavy pieces or pieces placed at height. The customer is responsible for the safe installation of the piece, including using suitable means for hanging or placement.
Limitation of liability for indirect damages
Without derogating from the warning and instructions in the previous section, the artist's liability for indirect, consequential, or incidental damage (including loss of profit or use) arising from the piece is limited to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability for bodily injury or death caused by the artist's negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including under Israel's Consumer Protection Law, 1981, and Standard Contracts Law, 1982.
