Weapons, reforged as witness
Each piece begins as missile fragments and Iron Dome interceptor debris, material that once threatened life, and is forged by hand into Judaica and memorial sculpture that testifies to what it survived.

The Artist
From the Air Force reserves to the forge
Eli Gross spent over 450 days in reserve duty with the Israeli Air Force, where he first handled the missile fragments and interceptor debris that would become his material: the start of a practice transforming the instruments of war into symbols of light, memory and continuity.
